Turning a New Page with A Passion for Creativity

As I drove to a Cotswold village this morning, it dawned on me there there were notable changes happening. The air felt fresher, the colour of the leaves were warmer, and the morning light was softer.
Art, like the seasons, thrives on change. You plant an idea, watch it grow, then make space for the next thing to bloom. Lately, something has been stirring as if there is a seasonal shift happening within me. I just had to listen.
As I was looking back through my sketchbooks and paintings the other day, I could see the changes over time. My ideas have got clearer, my techniques have become sharper and my experimentations have broadened. Do you feel the same when you look back in your old sketchbooks too?
A Passion for Creativity has been a sketchbook of experimentation over the last couple of years. It is growing into something much bigger and it feels that it’s the right time to turn the page and start a new one with fresh ideas.
And when I start a new page, I get very excitable as the ideas flow effortlessly. With the new ideas swirling in my little creative brain, I realised it was time to share them in a way that supports your creativity. There’s so much more I want to teach you and that’s why I’m refreshing how I share content here on A Passion for Creativity.
What’s new for A Passion for Creativity?
All subscribers will receive posts about creative tips and inspiration, a glimpse behind the scenes in the art studio, celebrating my students’ work, student take overs, and reflections on gallery visits and exhibitions.
All paid subscribers will receive all the above and…the Foundations to Flourish series, which features step-by-step lessons that build your skills week by week focusing on different medias and materials. Mastery Monday which is an in-depth, monthly themed project exploring artists, techniques, and creative challenges. Exclusive resources which gives theory based workbooks, practical exercises, creative prompts, and insights that aren’t shared anywhere else. Access archived posts whenever you want to revisit and recap all things art.
All founding members will recieve all of the above, plus a one to one, 1-hour lesson either online or in the studio, to talk all things creative, whether unpicking artwork, learning techniques or creating art.
A Little Note About Foundations to Flourish
You may have noticed that the Foundations to Flourish series is now part of the paid subscription. This wasn’t an easy decision as I have loved sharing the steps for you to flourish in specific mediums with everyone. But over time, I realised that this series is SO much more than creative tips and inspiration; it’s a full, structured learning journey, designed to help you grow your skills, confidence and creative practice. By moving it to the paid tier, I can continue creating detailed lessons, guided projects and exclusive resources without compromise, and offer a deeper, more meaningful experience for those who want to take their creativity further.
